The idea of going without water was horrible. “Get water, find food and shelter… and stay as low key as possible.” I thought for a second. We would need to watch the other tributes. “Perhaps we should find higher ground so we can spy on the others?” I asked. It mostly depended on wherever we can find our resources. “They should give us a little more information about the arena, right?”
“If there’s any high ground to be had,” Pippa said. Then she grinned. “How are you at climbing trees?” Having so little information about the arena was getting to be extremely frustrating. These days were meant for them to prepare, but they didn’t have the faintest idea what they were preparing for.
“Actually, yeah! We have a lot of trees back in my district,” I told her smiling because it was expected of the lumber district to have trees. “We would climb them as kids. How about you?” I watched Pippa who looked like she was coming up with a small plan.
